The Bailiffs Office Brisbane can serve or arrange service of any process Issued out of any Court or Tribunal, which is required to be served in the state of Queensland.

Advice on Service of Process.
The Bailiffs Office can advise you of the quickest and most cost effective method of service of process for any locality outside of Queensland

Family Law Process
The Bailiffs Office Brisbane offers the most cost effective and speedy service of Family Law Process within the Greater Brisbane area, including urgent Applications and Subpoenas and effects service of Process directly issued by the Family Court of Australia and by the Magistrates Court, issued under the Family Court Jurisdiction. The Bailiffs Office is well aware of all requirements involved in the Service of Family Court process and adheres to all requirements regarding service and to the compiling of affidavits of service, so that the matter may proceed without delay.

Note: Service Fees for Family Law process are variable depending on where service is to be undertaken but only one fixed fee is payable.

Fees
The Bailiffs Office only charge fees for service of process outlined in the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules (Link to UCPR) No additional or hidden fees or charges are added to the service fee, when service is conducted through the Bailiffs Office.

Non-Service of Process
If service cannot be effected for some reason, the Bailiffs Office will advise you in writing as to the reasons for non-service and suggest possible modes of alternative service. No further steps will be taken to effect service and incur costs without your prior knowledge.

Advice to best methods
The bailiffs Office when contacted will give advice as to the best means to effect service of process or the enforcement of a warrant which is to be processed through that Office or is being actioned by an Enforcement Officer from the Bailiffs Office.

Information for Small Debt recovery
The Bailiffs Office may give advice when requested as to a cost effective method of Small Debt Collection to persons other than the Legal Profession, or the Collection Industry. That is, persons pursuing a Small Debt as an individual or as a small business.

Appearance at Enforcement Hearing
The Bailiffs Office Brisbane will arrange for a suitably qualified person to act for a Creditor at an Enforcement Hearing and advise the Creditor in writing as to the outcome of such Enforcement Hearing and suggest an appropriate method of Enforcement to satisfy the Debt.

Service on a person at a specific time
The Bailiffs Office Brisbane cannot guarantee that service of process can be effected on any particular person at any specific time.

Non -service
The Bailiffs Office cannot guarantee that service will be effected on any person; reasons for non-service will be advised to the client.

Legal Advice
The Bailiffs Office is unable to give Legal Advice, but will explain procedures and methods regarding Bailiffs Services and refer the enquirer to the correct authority to answer questions outside the Scope of the Bailiffs Duties.

Unauthorized Disclosure of Information
The Bailiffs Office is unable to disclose information to any party about another party in an action without confirmation that the party seeking such information is authorized to receive such information or is a Party to the Action.

Misconduct
The Bailiffs Office Staff will not carry out any service of process or enforcement Action under a warrant that could be deemed unlawful or in contravention of the Court Rules.
